Richard Texier is an internationally renowned French painter and sculptor based in Paris. He is mainly appreciated and known for his fantastic, dreamlike universe, exploring the living and questioning Humanity about the feelings of his environment. On this subject, he developed a fascinating holistic theory called “Elastogénèse” published in a book (Flammarion editions). The Art Press magazine of October 2023 summarized it very well.

Continuing his work, Richard developed during the Covid years a range of everyday sculptures that he called “Craft”. This includes monkey lamps, marine candle holders, panther baskets and buffalo reading chair or side table. All the sculptures are made in bronze in its foundry in limited edition.
